The revolution is the aftermath of the attitudinal change. Everybody realizes the mistake, problem and unpalatable condition. A national headache becomes the migraine of every Nigerian. Every Tom, Dick and Harry begins to see the need for change, and the need to do things right. It takes passion, inspiration and determination. Everyone starts taking heed to the clarion call, ' Do it right!'.
The revolution begins when every house starts thinking of positioning a mobile refuse bin in front of the house. Are you that guy who decided never to drop sachet of pure water on the ground, but keep it in pocket or bag till a refuse bin is in sight? That's revolution! It will not be a surprise in the next five years if every Nigerian starts accepting and taking responsibilities.
Corruption is not a matter of the hand, but of the mind. It begins from the inside, it runs down the spine. It spreads out like wild fire. It is a demon, a canker worm. It eats deep and deeper until a great havoc is wrecked. 'I love my country, but I will never join the multitude to do evil’. This is also a matter of the mind.
The youth should rise up, the aged should not be left out. Everyone has to step in for the ills and mediocrity to step aside. I believe in change from one individual to the family, and to the society.
I envision a country so great for the continent to contain. I imagine a world where every Tom, Dick and Harry takes responsibilities and effects positive change. I see an attitudinal change taking effect in every mind. I see a new Nigeria in a new World.
I envisage a new you.
